At this stage, I’m happy with the silver on the centre console & door trims, but we will see what happens. Yes I hope I don’t scratch the carbon finish on the wheel. The new wheel is so nice to hold, it fits like a glove.

I’m loving the new steering wheel thank you. Yes it does look better in the flesh. the picture with the wheel fitted, the carbon looks to white if you know what I mean, the flash has highlighted everything, it is more black, like the picture of the wheel before it was fitted. The ISF feels much better with the new wheel & is nicer to drive. I’m sure I’ll drive her a bit more now.

The new carbon steering wheel is now fitted, & I must say it does look good. It feels so much better than the stock steering wheel. Money well spent. Here is a before and after picture.

Thanks Chris it does look good. I very happy with it. I’ll contact Lexus today about getting it fitted. I wouldn’t have it without your assistance, I’m not compatible with this Instagram thing. Elvin has so many options you can do. it’s a great looking wheel. Once fitted I'm sure the ISF will handle better & have more power. lol.

After seeing your excellent steering wheel, I joined Instagram & ordered one of Elvin’s steering wheels. It has turned up & looks excellent, just like your one but I didn’t get the blue red strip. Looking forward to getting it fitted next week. fingers crossed.

That is all I have in my Lexus black leather pouch, except for your photo copied bits. not sure where it would fit in the pouch as mine is full with just the 4 book & a couple of leaflets. I went through my books, & I cannot see the list for each service, just where they stamp after each service in section 5, of the Warranty and Service book. There is a Lexus scheduled maintenance list on page 18 of the same book. where did you get the photo copies from?

I found this on The Tire Rack web site. Tire Tech: Air Pressure for Competition Tires https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=58 I use Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres at the track, & I run front 46psi hot, & rear 38 to 40psi hot. I look at the side walls of the tyre, & if I’m start to run on the side walls I increase the pressure by 2psi. the ISF is front heavy & needs more pressure in the front tyres at the track.

I agree with BCHLER, Chatswood.

The RR 2 piece rotors were excellent and didn’t fade in each run on the track. to me they felt about the same as the Lexus rotors with the same track pads, but the RR 2 piece rotors have better cooling, & will take longer to fade. I knew my front tyres were getting low, but I thought they would last the day. sadly after the first run after lunch, I was checking the tyre pressures, (46psi hot) & I had worn through to the belts. It’s time for new front track tyres.

Hello William, looks like a few nice goodies are been installed, it will be good to test them at the track next week, it will be a great day. I use MPS Cup 2 tyres at the track, they are excellent tyres.

I’ve had RR Racing 2 piece front rotors fitted, & Project Mu RC 09 pads all round. Looking forward to testing them at the track next week. Took a couple of pictures with the mobile phone on the way home.

Sorry to hear about the coolant leak & engine mounts. My ISF was also in at Chatswood on Tuesday, getting her ready for the track. see you there. what nice upgrades are you getting?

I run Michelin Pilot Sports Cup 2 tyres on my track mags, & they are an excellent tyre. There only down side is that they are more a dry weather tyre, they are ok in the wet, but the Michelin Pilot Sports 4 would be a better tyre in the wet. I am using Michelin Pilot Super Sports tyres for everyday use & they are good tyres. but when they wear out I will be fitting the newer Michelin Pilot Sports 4.

I agree, Lexus of Chatswood service look after my babies. Good people & great service. A performance shop would be learning on your ISF as they pulled her apart. Lexus of Chatswood service know how to pull an ISF apart, & put her back together again properly. They have access to everything they need for the job. Have you seen some of those YouTube videos of these so called experts working on an ISF, rough as guts. No thank you.
