  1. I dont find it funny, i paid crazy postal charges because i only just joined this forum haha. Ah well ill be watching for next time :-)
  2. Agreed. The newer carbon looking release is more stealth than their earlier versions but still stands out like crazy. Saw a video of a twin turbo setup, now that looked very stealth.no idea of performance increases though.
  3. I was late to the forums otherwise I would of been in for sure vs paying the astronomical postal charges I did 😢 Ps let me know when you do a group buy for a supercharger kit haha
  4. FYI - I asked and was told $990 shipped for a rear diffuser.
  5. well mine was about $104 US to post to Sydney. wait for the dollar to increase before placing an order lol. UPS tracking or something like that, cant remember top of my head but yeah not cheap.
  6. As LTuned has mentioned, easiest to check via their site but if you are based in Syndey, make sure youre sitting down when you get a reply regarding postage costs lol.......OUCH!!!
  7. Damn you and your informative reviews Sparky. You told me about Sonny and his maniford mod so i did that. Now you mention these parts so ill be forced to buy them. Just dont mention youre getting it supercharged otherwise i may follow as well haha. Its basically a catch can right? Read a bit of that thread in the link you provided, surprised how much oil can build up without it so small investment really. As LTuned mentioned, the bushes sounds like a good mod too. I am a bit weary of my ride so you believe on yours it didnt too much uncomfortableness in terms of bumps etc? Did you guys order straight from RR or is there a local seller who already has stock of these parts? Ps Curious, what colour hoses did you get. Noticed 1/2 into the thread many were going blue. I like the stealth look but as they are small, i thought blue might be ok.
  8. True, just need to call some local wreckers. End of the day, it doesnt do much for the car so new or not is not important
  9. Thks again for the insight. Besides original not having much luck finding one. Cant find aftermarket that fits and plenty in the US but LHD. Ill keep looking :-) Surprisingly the 1 clip is holding on pretty good so thats a bonus if i dont put too much pressure on it lol
  10. Ah well looks like I'll need more than just clips. Unfortunately most on ebay are from the US so all for LHD. Just need to find out if a IS250 would fit.
  11. Wow thats a piece of art. I remember seeing a HKS or some fancy setup on our ISF. Looked like a plumbing masterpiece with the trumpet style mufflers. I wouldnt even want to imagine the price tag :-(
  12. I think its V21. Well thats the one i cant find nor can many others on various forums. Im sure thats the 2016 update.
  13. Yeah i was able to successfully copy/burn V20 as well as its been working well for a while. Dont suppose youve been able to track down a copy of V21? I havent been able to find any copy of it anywhere without paying big $$$ of course lol
  14. Those mods would definitely be nice to have with a good tune. Ive got some mods and waiting for my HPS intake to arrive before ill tune. Before discovering this thread, i contacted CPI (silverwater based i think) and the guys advises he has experience tuning an ISF with good results but havent found anyone on these kinds of forums who can comment about a tune. Most refer to Sonny at Autowerks etc. CPI wanted just under 2k though which i thought was a bit excessive for a tune. My ISF has the typical mods so didnt think it would be a true custom tune vs other make of cars that can be truly unique like supercharger, cams, headwork, injectors etc. This i understand would require more time hence more expensive. Ill most likely go with Autowerks but CPI is another who can tune our cars. Hopefully someone who has had a tune from them might be able to share their experiences.
  15. Hi guys, Anyone got any experience using alternative software on their OEM's car entertainment system? Got this through some emails today and looks promising vs using the outdated interface of the cars factory menu / satnav system. Especially not being able to navigate whilst in motion which i find annyong yet other manufactures allow it. http://gromaudio.com/blog/2016/09/vline-lexus-infotainment-upgrade/?pk_campaign=lexus-club http://gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl1-lex5.html I like the look of something like this as it retains the factory system and you also have the option of using the standard system but also the VLine product with Google maps, voice commands etc. Always been interested in something like this so just curious if anyone has any experience with this kind of stuff etc
  16. Cheers for the replies guys. My Ebay searching skills must be rusty, i didnt find that much when i looked except for the one charging $200 postage lol. I called Lexus Parramatta, they advised they do sell the clips seperate so based on the picture it looks like it does attach at the base i think. Ill find out when i remove mine. The clips are $7.20 each which im hoping it is. The complete foot rest which comes with clips as well is $185 so ill try to avoid that :-) Ps Thanks for the RHD tip, i wouldnt even have thought of that
  17. Cheers mate, that pic helps alot. Guess ill just have to pry it off and then deal with it or go aftermarket if one fits. Knowing Lexus it will probably cost a few hundred but atleast it will give a few extra Kw's lol
  18. you wouldt happen to know what the clips look like. Im sure 1 is broken so reluctant to pull it out and snap the other one or if i dont have anything to fix it with. Cant seem to find any clips online to order
  19. Hi guys, Anyone have any idea how to remove the foot rest in our cars. Mine is a 2008. I only noticed the other day when i put a bit of pressure on it, there is a bit of movement and a click so i suspect a clip has broken. Ive searched but only found references to other Lexus models. Ive removed the screws but it doesnt appear to be holding the actual silver plate on so not sure how to remove / fix it. Couldnt find a reference in the car manual either.
  20. Sorry mate, wouldnt have a clue on this one. Not sure where youre based but i had to call Lexus Parramatta once to get a quote on a basic service and almost fell off my chair so i wouldnt be expecting to be pleasantly surprised if you get my drift. Browsing through the US forums, im sure i recall coming across a similar question and someone stating the dealer wanted $300ish and it took about 30 mins. As said though, thats in the states so really no idea what a dealer here would charge. Good luck with it. Their # is 1300 852 797
  21. Hey if you dont mind me asking, what you paid approx for the Ryco ones. At the time i didnt bother non genuine as $25 wasnt that much but i know for many other genuine Toyota/Lexus stuff the price can be excessive
  22. Sorry only just seen this thread. Guessing you dont need the info anymore but just in case anyone else does, the part number is Part # 0415251010, this is genuine from Toyota though, not sure about aftermarket ones. Few months back i brought about 4 from Toyota for future services etc. They retailed for $33 each but as i got a few i was charged $25.
  23. i know its old but only just seen this thread and BTA's dyno result. 260kw for a stock ISF.....just shows how much variance exists between dyno's, ramp rates, what gear its in etc. I havent had a tune yet but have a Xforce catback and before a few other mods and it was dyno'd at 239@ wheels. Along with a few other guys who dyno'd same place at Autowerks, approx 230 is about the norm at this workshop for a stock ISF. Would be great to see some numbers from someone more modified than the usual headers/exaust/intake and tune setup. i.e. turbo or supercharge like some in the states :-)
  24. In case you have not know, i just seen Xforce release a Bluetooth controlled app/module box. http://www.xforce.com.au/xforce-varex-app I got a varex system fitted so for now the remote is good enough for me but thought others may be interested. No idea about userbility, never used before, not affiliated with them blah blah, just thought good on them for trying to release new product. FYI - i sent them an email, was curious. Advised they have sold out alreday, didnt anticipate the interest etc. Not available until mid Oct. Most retailers are selling for $399 into price but they said that will change once sold for a while, intro period ends. I nicer remote would be nice like the Armytrix, my slider part is loose already lol
  25. Get yoursel an exhaust, the downshift bleeps are so much better. Never ever gets boring lol. an Apexi throttle controller is alot of fun too. Cheap, easy to install but really makes the car nice to drive (although since your tuned, im not sure how much of an impact it would have)
