I tried with some odd struts I had lying around, length was a bit shorter but still fitted for the trial. The ball ends dont fit properly on the inner pin no matter what all the youtube vids say. Had some with I think about 300N of force. The boot certainly opened nicely but when shut the force lifted the rear corners of the boot lid 😞 It was also reasonably hard to shut to get it over centre. Got a set of Lexus struts and had a refill chap try them at about 20% over oem. This seems to be not too bad. Boot lid does not swing open but it does lift about 70-100mm when you pop the switch instead of sitting just open. FSport lid is also a bit heavier than standard ones. At least I had a go. Cost $60 for the refill. Would they work better with a bit more force???......... Got another $60?... 🙂

Doesn't add anything. Just changes the throttle curve from pedal. Put car in Power mode with Lexus switch 🙂

Make car safe.!!!! Jack up both back wheels just off ground. Car in neutral, handbrake off. Turn one wheel by hand. Both wheels should turn same direction. LSD. Put in park or if manual 1st. Should feel resistance when turning one wheel. If easy and one wheel turns the opp direction, no lsd.

Don't put baking soda in unless you can flush it out. Residue may block jets etc. You will always smell washer fluid but when it goes offf.... yuk. You could try a good dose of disinfectant, chlorine based maybe?? Put a towel over jets when flushing thru.

Dashcam power supply

If it worked for a while I doubt the circuit is multiplexed. Can you remove the voltage adapter and and check it out with camera att on a known 12v supply, ie battery or cig liter. I have same in both our cars. I put the voltage adapter under the dash with 12v feed from one of acc fuses under dash. https://au.lexusownersclub.com.com/yrhfanp6 -

Worst case may need to remove bottle and give it a very good clean. It may have a build up of hard water residue and grime coating the plastic. This will aid bacteria growth. You could try 1/2 filling with vinegar followed by a cup-full of baking soda. Then after it has reacted try to wash it out fully. Stubborn surface grime may be able to be cleaned off with a cup-full of nuts, bearings etc and sloshing it around to dislodge the grime. Remove pump 1st. Followed by a good wash out. Note: I have never removed a washer bottle from a Lexus IS yet but the time will come.

You can use the stock one if the springs stay trapped on droop and you don't modify the bump stops.

Doesn't look like a Lexus/Toyota button. Can you trace the wires from it? -
