  1. I see you found the v22 link :) Maybe try the RX forum section for the other questions? https://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/forum/34-lexus-rx400h-rx450h-club/
  2. Does it change if you gently apply brake pedal when moving? Is it a rotational noise or a "bouncy" noise. Can you hear it from the open passenger window?
  3. It may not be the shocks. Lower inner rear front mounts can also make a noise. I would get a $25 Pedders check on their vibration bed to pin point source.
  4. Also Transtyle Automatic Transmissions in Empire Way Hallam does a change using Toyota oil and associated parts.
  5. Thanks. 90% of the lights surface is 100% ok. Its just the external coating across the top strip next to guards worn thru a bit, so doesn't need refurbish. Prob from over polishing/cut sometime in its life. I will try to get a bit of black vinyl to play with 1st.
  6. Was looking at both options. Need to find some vinly that is uv stable. I think black may be. I have clear wrapped headlights in the past, Mercedes, VW R32 etc so that is still an option. Just dont know if it will stop futher degradation once its started.
  7. Like this https://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/9083-post-your-latest-mods/page/29/?tab=comments#comment-58849 Page 17 and bottom of page 29
  8. I know a few years ago these were popular for the series 2 IS250 and IS350 etc but not so much now. I've noticed the hard clear coat on the top of my headlights is starting to breakdown. I want to either completely put clear vinyl (or similar) over the whole headlight or as I saw on a post from 2012 a piece of black or other colour vinyl contoured to fit the top 40mm or so. One old post had an ebay link but of course that went years ago. If anyone has an ideas or any "stuff" that may be suitable please post up. :)
  9. Prob toe out. Get alignment set to "0" toe. Also 2nd the PS4 and PS4 S
  10. Yes for both 250 and 350 BUT 350 not recommended due to I believe trailer load may impinge on drive-train reliability. Saying that I have seen on 350 and they are sold. Just contact a tow-bar outlet in your local city for price and availability etc.
  11. Want red cover 😂 https://au.lexusownersclub.com.com/qncp7u3 Blue (Power??) https://au.lexusownersclub.com.com/r9wz2dp
  12. Good idea. Sad about the spam post between ours Edit: fixed 😞
  13. I had them on an Audi S3 when I purchased it a couple of years ago. Seemed ok but I did notice a driving difference when I replaced with PS4's.. (my favoutite ) Most likely fine for your purpose. edit: What are the current front tyres? These are also important on these cars
  14. No an issue in this case. My speedo is 4% high . New tires are 1.5% less when new so now closer to 2.5%. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ https://tiresize.com/comparison/ At 100kph on speedo with new oem sizes gps was showing 96kph. Now it shows approx 98kph. I'm happy with that. New tires cost $1100 the set, from Bob Jane Ringwood, f&b inc old tyre disposal. Michelin PS4's... 235/40/18 fronts were $160 each. 265/40/18 rears were $390 each They even look proper on the rims, no bulging, very happy.
  15. Actually pricing a set of 235/40/18 and 265/40/18 for mine tomorrow. Have 225/40/18 and 255/40/18 currently in PS4. Going up one size to make speedo a bit more accurate (+1.5%) and to help protect rims, esp front.
  16. If its driving true and tyres wearing nice and even, on a Lexus I would not touch alignment. If front have too much inner or outer wear then yes and set front to '0' toe. About all that can be adjusted. I prefer Michelin's , esp Pilot Sport 4,s Get a price on those as well, highly recommended on a few forums.
  17. A lot of effort to be rewarded, but honestly I don't see the point. Stretched tires, excessive camber, scraping on the ground. As a show car 😊, as a drive around 😕
  18. I agree. May be a rename but it works :) https://www.gpspower.net/toyota-lexus/359722-toyota-lexus-au-nz-v25-14-2019-a-2.html#post1182721
  19. There have been a couple of questions re the authenticity of this as well on gpspower but for the cost of an dvd......:)
