  1. Before I pull mine out ... Has anyone done it or is it possible to swap over the left and right seat backs and/or bottom pads? My left seat is like brand new and holds me tighter so contemplating swapping over what I can IF its feasible and worth the effort.
  2. 2 adj, one on top, other in hole under top of guard. Do not turn to much, also turn car on and off to check auto levellers work before each adj. Edit: This is for series 2
  3. Some pre 2008 need dvd + , post that date some need dvd - Just burn the iso using img burn at no more than 4 times. Takes an hour or so. There is a change over from dvd to SD card somewhere after 2012 I think. Those versions use NaviExtras Primo BUT are locked.
  4. If they are DVD based this download should work to update maps to a couple of years ago. https://1fichier.com/?l7jhr52uaj
  5. OK thanks. Just coincidence 😞 Will try to find out whats wrong.
  6. For those interested I just paid $456 for 105k service (97K on vehicle, (dictated by time, IS350 F Sport 12/2011) Cost quoted $600 inc filters etc. Paid $456. as I supplied the oil (this time around Nulon synthetic) Drive there outside temp shown increasing from 31 to 34c. Drive home outside temp shown as 28c. Didn't move from workshop to home... AT least 38c at the time, hotter now. Question is can they disturb to outside temp sensor during a service? I couldn't find where it is 😞 Will call if it can be compromised. Thanks Baz

  8. Easy way to tell is if there are headlight washer covers on top of the bumper directly in line with the lights then you have hid's If not then you just need generic halogens.

  10. Ill start with IS350 versus IS350 F-sport. Please keep thread for videos only and chat to a minimum 😁 so thread doesn't loose its intent. ISF one's in link below.
  11. Its great to add a few notes but please try to keep to intent of this thread, or it may go off track too easily and end up being mainly chat.. 😁
  12. Also say where in Oz you are so people can make recommendations on servicing. I would see no issues going to an independent for servicing. If you Google service on that car you will get a fair indication of prices from associated workshops. If there are any safety issues etc Lexus would of contacted the owner(s) previously. 137,000 is not a high mileage for the majority of cars now days, just sounds a lot as its over 100,000 πŸ˜„
  13. I get enjoyment watching these. Please try to keep 'chat' to a minimum so the intent doesn't get lost. ☺️ Keep adding any you have or recommend 🚘
  14. I am led to believe Lexus are built on the Crown chassis mix?

  17. How old is the new car. Sometimes a new part is repainted to the car colour code. After a few years in the sun and atmosphere the car colour can change. When a new part is painted it then needs to be colour matched not colour coded. That is a lot harder to do. Also if its slightly metalised or has some sort of flake in it the direction its painted can make it look a different colour. Not an easy process. Even new cars with plastic bumpers, flares, etc etc can have a "viewing" missmatch nowdays. Good luck with the search 😏
  18. I have seen the gps signal in one of the underlying settings. Cant get to the car atm but will have a look next week if someone doesnt answer. Baz
  19. Ive seen tears fixed by plastic welding. On the one at work (Hilux) they also put a reinforcement filler patch on one bit. This was a couple of years ago. So it is possible.
  20. Yeah understand the above. Was interested to see it really and if anyone has been notified here in Oz
  21. Noticed it says "most" cars are in the USA but I wonder where the rest are? https://apnews.com/8ca34c83d31942c58fdd2dc84a00f07e Excerpt: DETROIT (AP) β€” Toyota’s Lexus luxury brand is recalling about 121,000 cars worldwide because of fuel leaks in the engine that can cause fires. The recall covers certain 2006 through 2013 IS350 cars, as well as the 2010 through 2014 IS350C, and the 2007 through 2011 GS350 and GS450h. All have 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engines. Toyota says a diaphragm material in the fuel injection system can harden over time and crack, allowing fuel to leak. The company would not say if the problem has caused any fires, crashes or injuries. Most of the recalled cars are in the United States.
