first half of 09 didnt have LSD pretty much same spec with 2008 later half (after august) 2009 had LSD same spec as 2010

on the side it should have a built date with all along with a barcode get him to send a pic of the built date and code also a chassis number too i can search if it is a LSD equipped car or not

2008 build 2009 is non LSD LSD ISF came out from late 2009 (MY10) the code should be a01b (b stands for LSD) for a LSD rear diff the 2009 should be A01A (A is for Open diff) which is a non LSD car see if you can track down the built plate of the car and check the trans/axle code i dunno wat you think is a good price but last time i saw a 2010 LSD unit go for was 2.7K with all the rear cradles as for physically testing get a mate to hold the other end of the shafts and give it load by trying to stop it from spinning if it free spins it should be non LSD if it struggles and tries to twist your mates arm whos holding it its a LSD

reset your computer by d/c your battery for 10 mins see if it comes back on again if it does let us know

hey guys hope you guys have a blast of a time i wont be going as i can not get time off work and its abit far to travel just a heads up wakefield is a small track and tight unlike EC running wide into turn 2 into the sand pits can cause some damage to your car also be wary of the fishhook in the middle section of the track unlike SMP wakefield tends to punish you if you understeer too much as it is a much narrower track have fun guys and be safe!

2010 to 2013 mechanically unchanged though small things like NAV system BT audio streaming etc has been added on for the 2013 ie 2010 had matt black headlight surrounds to 2011 2012 has black chrome surround and added eyelashes 2013 has lighter shade black chrome surround small subtle differences between the headlights and also ABS system as well

guys some of the info you are posting is not true 1. Presteige (base) with EMV (option) has ML system and camera etc 2.Sports +EMV 3.SL and for the bluetooth info it was released in MY13 not 2012 the 2012's you may have seen that have it are late 2012 builts which are effectively 2013 MY13 as for your question 1- What I would really love to do is to install a nexus tablet for a head unit. I haven't seen many guides, and don't know how doable it is (if you're not an electronics know-how) short answer no but long answer yes if money is not an issue you can do it but reality there is no easy way 2- Are they easy to install Bi-xenon lights? Maybe track a pair down from wreckers and install them? But how much? Another thing I would love to have are the LED daytime running lights inside the headlights like the newer models. Possible to fit them into stock older headlights? yes its plug and play a set will cost you around 800-1000 3- Don't know the difference since I haven't compared with or without, But I drive a lot and would love a nice clear audio system. Is it worth it? all 2006-2009 IS250's with nav have ML system so you probably wont be able to compare if your not intrested in the non nav models 4- Don't know what's involved in installing a reverse camera or parking sensors, can anyone shed some light? installing sensors are easy reverse camera is a whole lot different
