  1. Funny thing, I was locked out of my 2010 ISF yesterday morning. I always use the card key and I was able to access the boot but the car would not let me unlock the car from the drivers door. Not at all! Tried my other keys with the door handle and then with the unlock bottom, nothing! Ended up sliding the key out and popping the cover of the handle, once inside the car started fine. Walked past the car this morning (at work) and lights came on on the mirrors so she must like me again Have no idea want went on. Car was parked in our garage, never gets the garage so not sure if that had something to do with it (interference) but I doubt it. Anyone else experience similar?
  2. I dont think there is an actual db level for OEM exhaust out of the factory. A lot of the hyper cars has buttons open to straight thru exhaust. I think the rule is, if it came from the factory like that it is OK. doesnt make sense but like must rules i guess
  3. I did this many years go on my VK Brock commodore. One of my old friend was a window tinter and obviously you peel the tint off and this leves a residual adhesive. To get this off he suggested a thinner, prepsol or something similar with a stainless steel scouring pad an rags Stainless steel! I believe this oesnt scratch but if you are going to give it a go, small section first where you might not see. The hard part was the rear demister. As I say I did this a long time ago so my idea might not be the best but at the time I recall it worked.
  4. I dont reLly care either way but This is a great way to have chatswoods return to a normal dealer and offer nothing after market. If this is what you want keep recommending blaming the dealer who sounds like they just want to help their perfomance oriented lexus customers, I don't know the story with chatswoods selling after market parts but I am sure they are not professing them to be eom.
  5. I don't think it will effect me but I have two thoughts with this government. 1. Typical rob peter to pay Paul. 2. It will be like all their policies the budget wont meet actual figures. In other world their 1.8 bill saving will end up in the millions no Billions. My 2c
  6. I use this to condition my leather and works well removing denim blue but does require some effort. http://shop.finalinspection.com.au/index.php/cPath/31/osCsid/dfk89o8ipmdo3pvtmt0l8qsit2
  7. You could try getting our pads from Maukau Toyota in NZ. They are a sponsor here and pads are not too bad. Talking with my service manager rear rotors last a while and he has not replaced on n F yet. Anyhow, I picked my pads up from these guys and at 65,000 km still waiting to use lol.
  8. Post in the right section, it was in the right section with what I was thinking . My reference was to all the people with ISF's! As it has no interest to me unless it has a V8 in it. Hey no one is interested anyhow LOL
  9. http://ninemsn.carsales.com.au/news/2013/prestige-and-luxury/lexus/rendered-lexus-is-sportcross-36838 If only in a F!!
  10. Yep, that looks to be the case. Bummer. Thanks for your response.
  11. Anyone know if these are same for ISF. Obviously a little concern if spring rate is same for heavier F?
  12. Ouch! Sorry to see this adage, hope she ends up as good as before.
  13. I don't think it will be a problem as they take 2 photos one before you enter the intersection and one after entering. If you didn't enter the intersection this will show and therefore you are in the clear.
  14. I think the header noise level will be heavily based off the cell count of the CAT installed, if any.
  15. Isn't it Chatsword NSW lexus installing the RHD headers?
  16. NFI. at the 30,000 km service they said I'll need brakes at the next service so I picked up some pads from our friend in NZ and 31,000 km later my fronts are 50% remaining and rears 75% remaining. So 61,000 km and it looks like I'll make it a little further
  17. Mine still squeal after 61,000 km on the original rotors and pads. I guess I don't brake that hard lol
  18. Get use to it! ;) Such is life with the OEM pads etc.
  19. Looks like fun, except for the dunking. I bet you wish you had the window up LOL Also not sure about the gator / golf cart just off the track at around the 4:00 mark, not so safe in those conditions I think.
  20. Just make sure you get to keep the original exhaust. This way if you don't like the sound or you sell in the future, you always have the option to return to stock. Same goes for everything, except the match port job. No one can see this anyhow.
  21. Hey bullet, yes wear and tear but it showed up in oly a few months so kind of oissed off at the time but thinking it might be worth a go for warranty
  22. Hey Bullit How long have you had your car? Does your drivers seat, outside bolster show any signs of wear (where you get in and out) about hip hight (belt)? The reason I ask is mine showed some where there in the first 6 months which I wasn't happy about and the dealer put down for possible future warranty. Two years later and it hasn't really got any worse but was thinking about maybe asking for it to be replaced before warranty runs out. Feedback appreciated.
