  1. I know General Japanese Spares ships and they have alot of stock. To be honest I'd just go for a new part. Wrecks could damage the part while popping it off and it's maximum $20USD in the states with some going for cheaper. You could check your local Toyota Parts dealer and quote them this part number. 69217-53021-B0
  2. In 1G0 colour right? I'm sure you can get one from a wreck for relatively cheap. Just head there and pop it off yourself. Otherwise I've seen some around for relatively cheap on eBay. Part Number is 69218-33010 for the Front Left Side. Edit: My mistake, the exact part number for the RH, Key cap cover is 69217-53021. 69217-53021-B0 is the 1G0 colour for your car.
  3. ECU will be shipped out tomorrow via International Express which probably means another week or so. I estimate turn around time to be around 2 and a half weeks to 3 weeks. This is only for the bench flash. OBD options will be available after ECU is sent and returned the first time. I'll post up Dyno results once I receive the ECU.
  4. Ehau (rakkdon) is the pro at dashcams. He'll probably recommend you the Thinkware F770
  5. All good mate. ECU has arrived at OVTs doorstep, I'll periodically update as I continue contact with him.
  6. ISF Steering wheel with the damper, cruise control stalk, and silver ISF wheel controls. Looking for $650 but open to any reasonable offers. For those wanting to purchase the controls separately, it is $50. Also have a set of ISF floor mats for $100 PM for more info
  7. Looks like it's been but none but mainly in the States. Try looking around the 1st gen IS section there.
  8. ECU has been sent via express post today so I'll update on turn around times once I get it back.
  9. I'm guessing turnaround in going to be around a month since it takes around 7-10 days each way for it to be shipped. I'll be based in Seven Hills Hopefully I can get it done soon. I'm still tossing up whether I should get the tune with or without headers.
  10. If you check their facebook page they have indeed tuned their own RC350 and posted dyno results with almost a 20whp increase stock. I have contacted them and they require an AUDM RC350 ecu to obtain the info they need. It's a one off thing and you'll get your ECU back. I'm sending them my IS350 ECU as we speak.
  11. Currently in talks with OVT in the states to get our 2is350s tuned. Just trying to see if we can get any interests in this. We will have a Sydney base for this and also a Melbourne base (Sorry to the QLDers). Comment below if you're interested. The other 2GR models are also possible but they need a physical AUDM ecu for each model before that can happen.
  12. Pretty much nav updates also come with firmware updates so updating to v19+ should help.
  13. I guess updating the firmware may help. It's common problem with alot of nav systems, not just Lexus. What version of maps are you running?
  14. Perhaps consider getting your own spark plugs. Bought 6 for my 350 for around $100AUD delivered and saved around $320 (Since they charge $70 a plug).
  15. Yeah v20, I keep getting confused. Sorry about that, not sure why I keep insisting it's v21 haha. Moral of the story though is that burnt dual layer dvd copies do work.
  16. I've burnt and tested v21 on a dual layer disc on various models (2011 IS350, 2009 IS250, 2009 ISF) and they all work completely fine.
  17. As you've surely realised already these forums aren't really the best for newer model cars. Even the RC section on the CL forums in the US pales in comparison to their 2nd gen IS forums. The 2nd gen IS is simply a more available and popular car (same as forums here) You're best off going by your own research and biting the bullet. My 2c is the J5 AVS compatible coilovers (I don't like going spring only) as you can adjust the height of the car and still keep the AVS function of the vehicle. If research says that the tanabe is what you're looking for then I'd say go with that as Tanabe is a reputable brand. RSR is a new popular choice as well but in the end it's what you can research and find pictures of that counts.
  18. Is it a regular occurence? I sometimes get the same thing happening to me but all I do is switch my bluetooth on and off on my phone or manually connect the portable player again. It doesn't happen too often so I'm not too fussed resetting.
  19. If no one chimes you can try Lexmania. I have to warn you though, quality parts for the 2is aren't as cheap as others
  20. Hard to tell from just the photos... hard to make out the logo on the bottom.
  21. If you know how to install the bar properly then it'll be cheaper to buy a new bar and paint (unless you want to paint match your hood and fenders). If not the $850 excess will most likely be cheaper but depending on the price you buy the bar and painter (maybe a friend?) it'll only be cheaper by a bit (if you're lucky). In most cases it won't be.
  22. Can't really help it to be honest. These forums are pretty dead
  23. It's funny how everyone comes out AFTER the group buy asking for another group buy hahaha We waited 3 weeks for anyone to come forward but to no avail.
