RR Racing - Air / Oil separator and USRS - Installed!
LTuned replied to Sparky's topic in Lexus IS-F Club
Just had another look at Sonny facebook page dyno video of the ISF, dated 3rd May. I don’t think it was OzzyISF, as he has the silver engine cover, an Injen intake, & from OzzyISF post, was carried out on the 30 March. I’d guess it’s a my11 or above with the black engine cover and lights. 2bling advised that he was getting the tune from Sonny around that date. it might be 2bling. If it was, what do you think of the tune? -

Excellent, it's better to catch the oil. -
Well done, It looks good in matador mica red. I haven’t seen many in that colour. You will enjoy the ISF.

To upgrade, or not to upgrade. That is the question.
LTuned replied to Sparky's topic in Lexus IS-F Club
I would only upgrade to a different vehicle, like maybe a nice GSF or RCF. that would be worth it. as you have already carried out a few mods, including your new shocks, exhaust & a tune, to get your ISF the way you like it. it sound like you just need the LSD Diff, and Bluetooth streaming for music. just burn a few new cd, you can put a lot of mp3 on one cd. Back in 2014, I thought about updating to the latest ISF. but I would have to pay $$$$ to update to basically the same vehicle with slightly softer suspension, & without all my mods. it would also cost $$$ to get back to where I was. my ISF has low km, so I didn’t think it was worth it. if you want a nice comfy ride, get a LS. -
Excellent news, that was fast. Sonny kept my ISF for 2 days. he must be getting better. be careful in the rain, & enjoy the extra power & torque everywhere. I’m not sure about the engine & traction control lights. Keep an eye on AutoWerks Automotive facebook page, as Sonny usually puts up a 1 minute video of your vehicle on the dyno. my ISF was done on the 7th September 2016.

Excellent. you will enjoy the ecu tune, it will be good to see how you go.

All ISFs need a sports exhaust to bring out the V8 sound. the throttle blips on down shifts are awesome.
-
Looking good Adam. there’s nothing like a good clean. I occasionally take my ISF to the track, & I haven’t noticed any noise when hard shifting above 5000rpm, apart from a little bit of wheel spin. enjoy the ISF, they are so much fun. John

Good luck on Friday, the ISF will put a smile on your face..

Great vehicle the ISF. the back mag wheels in your photo are on the wrong side, and should to be swapped over, the blades are facing the wrong way, the fronts are correct.
-
Welcome. you will enjoy the ISF. good choice of colour. AutoWerks tuned mine as well, & made it even nicer to drive.

Well Friday I saw the LC 500 V8, it looks better in the flesh. it was deep blue in colour, with tan interior, very comfy seats, great looking dash, colour heads up display, there is a volume control dial on the centre console, & was as smooth as silk to turn. it was a very nice place to be, I didn’t want to get out. I even gave it a few revs and it sounded good. the 21inch wheel really suited it.

Twin superchargers, that is completely mad. & I would love a drive..
-
a GSF, another nice Lexus.
-
It is a beautiful looking vehicle, & in a few years I could see myself in a nice white one. I will be seeing one soon.

What a beautiful looking vehicle. the pictures look great.

It’s much better to catch the oil. Mine still looks empty, but I haven’t driven much. I’ll be testing mine at the track when it cools down a bit. -
Well done, OEM rotors and pads work well, it’s the dust I don’t like.
-
A good review from Clarkson. wow, I’m impressed. The GSF is a great looking 4 door vehicle, and it 95kgs lighter than an M5!! The GSF is the way to go.

Hello From the US!
LTuned replied to Lexusk's topic in Lexus GS250 / GS350 / GS300 / 430 Toyota Aristo Club
Hello & welcome from Australia. You are lucky, we didn’t get the V8 in the GS until the 2005 model change. sorry I cannot help with the parts, happy hunting. -
Well done Peter, enjoy.

It’s like the first F Sports, and was shown at the 2002 Sydney Motor Show. and went on sale in Australia in 2003, as an option package for the GS. With lowered & stiffer springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, Oz wheels 18 x 8 front and 18 x 9.5 rear, with 235/40 & 265/35 Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, sports exhaust, different tuning for the steering, a mesh grille, yellow fog lights, clear side blinkers, LTuned badges, & floor mats. there were about 20 sold in Australia.

Hello Dan, another GS Ltuned, there are not many of us. welcome to the club. I had a reversing camera fitted to my 2003 GS Ltuned, it was back in 2007, and it still works fine. They installed a camera on the back just above the number plate, and is hooked up to the vehicles GPS/touch screen, and works when you place it in reverse. I not sure of the brand, but it is still working after 10 years. it was supplied & installed by Lexus of Chatswood service, give them a call. (02) 9406 8388. How long have you had your GS Ltuned, & which colour. I enjoy mine, and it is silver with black interior, with 164k on it now. any pictures of yours. John
