  1. Well, just bought my Grandstand tickets for the Grandprix, sooooo, I might be seeing all y'all Melbourne boys soon!! Maybe even add a bit of Sydney style to the joint!!! HaHa!! ;)
  2. Great idea Niick...... You right though , I did initially create the other topic so that we could constantly add to it with fresh ideas!! Which credit to all Y'all, that has been done and then some!!! ;) Lets keep this thing goin on!!! So far, the ideas are looking cool. Can I suggest that we try to focus on a design that can be laser / die cut. Ie. We don't really want a white rectangular background do we??
  3. What you say'n?? You wanna a start a new site again?!?!?! Or are you saying that we should leave the forum off the sticker and have something else that would identify the click!!??
  4. Hi Ghast, Do you know who did the tints?? You should of got a warranty card with the "Tinters" number and name!! I guess if you think they did a good job, ie.cut right, no bubbles etc, its worth passing on the contact to all the members!! Cheers!!
  5. Great start mate!! Nice and simple, I like it!!! Cool font as well!!..... Do we think we need a logo as well? ;) I will mess around with the font as well!!
  6. Ok, so from what I can gather thus far, the thing that is most important to all of us is for the sticker to be relatively small,(I guess identifiable quite easily by the members more so ..) Personally, I think if we want it to fit the part, ie. not cheapen the car, we need to utilise minimal colours and keep with the lexus style font to a degree. Perhaps even neutral with black, white, gold and/or silver?? Should suit all our car colours then?? I guess we need to decide what to have on it so Niick can play around with ideas!! Unique logo that we design, text, both?!?!? Any thoughts???!?!?!?!? By the way Niick, props for offering to help with the art work!! ;)
  7. Hi, I get it from Ebay Motor, it cost me $600 landed...it might cost you more now as the currency thingy :( I install them @ Lexus Chatswood, but you can install them @ local, I know one @ arncliffe is good doing this, the shop call Top One, The drop is good for my car... its 1.4 and 1.00 dropped (as you can see on the photos) The F-Sport spring is Eibach..similar like mine...there is a clapping noise at the rear and you definitely need a Rubber Silencer... If you want to wait...I might sale mine..as I consideering to buy the Tein Comfort Sport coil over :) I'll let you know in a weeks if I want to sale it or not.
  8. Mate, a couple of the guys on CL changed to the Brembos and I don't recall any mention of significant mounting issues. I will try to dig up their posts!!
  9. Hey Niick, Im definately down with the group buy for springs!! What did you have in mind?? I thought your car was already lowered!! (and drastically at that!)
  10. Hey Art, Just out of curiousity, which dealership did you buy your car from? Parramatta. Hmmm... I didn't get my car from Parramatta so maybe this track day thing is dealership specific. Hopefully, Sydney City will be next in line! Hmmm... Damn it, i should just call my salesman tomorrow and ask about it! Hahaha...gotta be a lil thick-skinned!!! Don't worry too much about it mate, Art has obviously got VIP status!!! HAHAHA!!! Yes I know, jealousy is a curse!!! Don't think I will get an invite after the email I wrote to my dealership...... !!
  11. Yeh, thats what I was thinking. The off-set ain't quite right as well!! Look, like I said, they were only a temporary thing untill I sourced the WORK wheels locally. I couldn't go passed QQQ's good choice in rubber!! You got 19's on your car, yeh?? How are you all finding the ride?? 19" inch is good to me.. 235/19/35 8.5 front 255/19/35 9.5 rear, and 1.4 inch lowered. need a bit a work in a front fender, I used heat gun to re shaped the inside fender ...and all good now.. the ride is awesome :) Mate, said it already, but I will say it again, ya car looks awesome!! Props to ya!!
  12. hehe no problems, here's the car before lowered...will post the 'after' lowered very soon :) Hey QQQ, You have been sighted, sooo, you got those after pics yet?? I bet all want to see the end result!!! Hey hey...sorrryyyyyyyy...been busy ....(with the car) :) Just 1 more thing, if you want eibach pro kit to be install in your car..you need a Tein Silencer Rubber (since eibach unable to supply one), otherwise you'll hear a liitle 'clapping noise' from the rear springs... and now..heres the photos..fitted with 19" HRRacing Stagerred! Hey Dragon..are you spying on me??? :P thanks for the compliment though :) Hey QQQ, Considering that it appears that I am un-intentionally following in your foot steps, where did you get the Eibach's from?? Did you get them fitted locally? Did they suggest to get the silencer rubbers?? After reading about the guys with the F-Sport springs, Im worried that the drop aint quite enough. Does anyone here have the F-Sports installed yet?? Do you guys agree??
  13. I feel for ya mate!! I would of thought that you would of canned the business trip. Get your priorities straight!!! I went to the first Top Gear Australia filming last week and had a sim situation. I had four tickets and unfortunately a mate couldn't make it. I too thought of you all here. Again, non transferable. The guy from SBS was saying that they had 40 thousand people on the waiting list for the shows taping. Glad I had the Op! Anyone else here go?? Hey, can't we just pull a bit of identity fraud !! Surely it couldn't be that hard to pass as you!! Wakefield here we come!! :) I could go with the identity fraud, pose as me, make the payment on the car for me and I will lend it to you to park in your garage every now and then.... sounds like you're onto something there... Art, Well I like the first part of your interpretation, and semi like the last!! Considering that the sales team have ear marked you for the IS-f, I'd say that you would be the better candidate to handle the repayments!! Ha! I don't mind the parking thing, but expect me to do some laps around your joint first!! You mind find atleast 10% less rubber on your wheels every time I do though!! Hey, valet service always comes at a cost!!! ;) Seriously though, hope you get one!! Im sure the boys will all enjoy a test drive!!!
  15. Hey ilv', If ya serious about your brakes, yeh, ya can't go past the Brembos!! 6pots, you will be stopping on a dime!! Again, if ya serious, and I guess money ain't an issue considering that ya just bought a brand new RX350 aswell lol !!!! I assume you will be changing the rotors as well!?!?! Love to see em on!!

  17. Hey ilv!! I think thats cool!! I was hoping that someone would volunteer to do the art work for the club sticker! I can look into printing them out!! I guess we need ideas of how we want them to look. We obviously first and foremost want them to look tastefull on our cars. A small identifier of sorts!! As for the meetings, I still want to do them. I still think we will get the best turn out as we approach the years end. Oh yes, summer is upon us!! We do still need to do that car wash thing as well!!
  18. Mate, I totally understand where you are coming from.... I too struggle to get time to play with the car. Getting time for the forum ain't too much of a problem cause im either on in the office, or I utilise the wireless if @ the coffee shop! Hang in on the forum ldc!! Hopefully U will get re-enthused!! Like you mentioned, there has been some great work done on this forum of late, you all know who U are, lets keep it goin on!!! (that means U too Korvan)!!! Need some more instructional stuff!! Later!!! ;)
  19. HAHAHAH Hi ProjectIS, thats my ex wheels :) you got it from SpinCity Tyres right? :) here's the photo.... yeah the tyres is good, the wheels is Gmax but designed by .... 'something' racing :) The reason I trade it in is because the wheels is so heavy....(very heavy) :) How much you get for?
  20. Hey guys, Here is a quick pic!! As you all can see, definately needs to be "DROPPED"!!! (Something chronic)!!! Before y'all say anything, no, they are not the wheels I was looking at nor were they even wheels that I was thinking about!! They were a spur of the moment purchase and the reason I got em was that the rubber on them are Goodyear Eagle F1's. (cool tread pattern)! They were pre loved but practically new!! I got them all up cheaper then I could probably by the rubber alone. I couldn't bare leaving them in the shop for that price! I don't think they look that bad, the deep dish is a different look, but I will keep em on till I finally source the wheels I originally decided on!! Anyway, they are 235, 18's. Unfortunately they weren't staggered, but I think that the rears fill the guards pretty good!! Again, Im going to do the drop shortly and hopefully that will give it a more complete look!!! Will post as soon as I do!!
  21. Hey guys, I think this has to be said!! Look, I think a lot of us are dropping off this forum yet again!! I think what obviously makes a forum is a sense of community. That is, friendships are created, knowledge shareing is at a maximum. We can bet that if we have a problem, or we need an answer to a question, one of our members would have at some stage experienced it in their travels and obviously would be sure to help out!! Guys, in a nut shell, I think we need to get back to decent posts, (and not one liners), and hopefully we can get back on track!! We all have the same passion here, otherwise we wouldn't be apart of this forum!! Lets get the "mateship" thing happening!!! Now I've said my bit, hope most or atleast some of you agree with this statement !!! ProjectIS!! ;)
  22. And you were planning on telling the boys when?? Are you selling the IS250?? Anyway, congrats on the new car!!
  23. My sincerest condolences on your loss. Top props to Lexus of Perth for being so sensitive to a customer during such a tragic time. There's not many companies that would even care that much, let alone demonstrate it the way they have. Pygothian, I too give my sincere condolences. I hope you find strength through your family and friends during this difficult time. It was most definately a very nice gesture made by Lexus.
