  1. Hey all, Just another custom interior!!! All is suede!!! Never been a massive fan but i thought that this guy did a nice / tasteful job of it!!! Even the front facia is custom to accom the LCD....... Thought the non ML guys might be interested in the idea!
  2. Hi all, Look, this ain't really a "How To", but I did feel that it was good reference material for those that are thinking of upgrading their speaker drivers!!
  3. Hey Ilv. Heres an upgrade for U!!! I know you were after the 6 Pot Brembos, try these big boys out. 12 Pot !!!!! Yehhhhhhhh!!!!
  4. Hey ProjectIS, Do you have the rest of the manual document where this extract came from? Toyota in the US have an online service to get these service manuals but you have to be a US resident to get them. On a side note, when I changed the bulbs in my car, it wasn't a walk in the park as you had to remove a whole heap of stuff in order to get to the back housing. Hey Jomster, Unfortunately not yet!! But don't worry boys and girls, I am on the mission!!!!
  5. thats great if vw offer that level of service as i'd love to get a vw at some stage. that gti turbo 4 potter and dsg tranny are an awesome combo. and sorry to hear about all your troubles. you must have one of the few that do have problems. if it makes you feel any better i've got a merc and they're supposed to be great but i've had 6 major issues with mine in the last 2 years. it's just bad luck i guess. Mate, ya not alone!! I've got a friend that has a brand new Vito and he too has had nothing but problems. And Mercs attitude according to him is crap!!! Im yet to experience Lexus's service commitment, but Im thinking nothing could be as bad as what he has portrayed thus far!!!! I must admit, I do have high expectations from Lexus service and I really do hope that they don't let me down!!! Im due for my first service in about 3K and at this point, going by the feedback, Im thinking of going with Lexus Parramatta!
  6. Here is a section that goes through the Head Light removal procedure... Headlight_removal.pdf
  7. Hi Lexus!!! There is a post not long ago about which car care products are favourable. Check it out, I am switching products as a result!!.......and I guess any further questions, Bluey is the one that can best answer them!! (Resident Car care Guru)!!!! ;)
  8. Hi Franky, So when you press the power button again, does the screen change from the picture of the speaker??? Does it say anything on the screen about the auxilary.
  9. Hey Niick, Perks.... Man, not sure where they are from. I was tinkering with the car outline a while ago.....I was creating it from a side view that I had of my car....Changed to grey scale, solarised and played with the contrast until I got definate edges. Then I started to erase the inside untill I got a rough outline!! Just haven't got back to it as yet. Perks, Looks good, but I think we need to look at how we can have it so that the text and logo can be cut so that only it sticks on. No background as such! Can we un-elongate the Lexus logo a tad!!! Thanks for the effort Perks!! Between Niick and ya self, we gonna have a design in no time!!!
  10. Spotted....... Ilv1004s, Pennant hills rd...........10pm.............Damn I gotta get the F-sport intake..........Sounds bloody awesome!!!! Nice ride man!!! ;)
  11. Hey Akuma, I read some of the reviews, and they sound awesome. They all say that there is no brake fade, minimal dust (the dust that does come off doesn't tend to stick), and the stopping is awesome!! By them saying that, im assuming that it would be softer compound and thus hopefully not eat to quickly into the oem rotors!! This is one of the reviews I read! So I go do the proper bed in procedure and then I go do some high speed braking. First I get to about 120 and come down to 90 and then speed up again, then slow down to 60. There is no fade, the brakes are very grabby and must I say better than stock. These pads haev lots of bite and dont give up. I never got one squeal out of them. These pads are an ideal track setup and will keep your wheels clean everyday. These pads emit brake dust that will not stick to your wheels. This makes them better than an EBC pad with all the performance of stock and then some. I recommend these brake pads. I will post reviews after AutoX and road racing. So far so good, get the MU!
  12. Hey guys, I know that we have all kinda put our 5cents in when it came to what style logo we wanted, but can we voice it again as far as if we want the "car outline" or the "Lexus logo" with the web address....or something else all together!! I assume most of us are still keen to show that we are apart of the same Lexus car club!! Should we setup a vote?? or just add replies?!?!
  13. We gotta design one first brother!! Our graphic designer / photoshop guru has gone on holidays I think!!! YO Niick! "Ya back from the islands yet brother???" B) Actually Perks, after seeing ya Photochop, are you volunteering ya services aswell???
  14. Cevu, We keep spot'en ya ebays, double Muahaha!!! Can you sell my stockies once ya sell yours!! Looks like U got the saleman in ya!! Anyway, back to business, spotted, this morning city bound just before the harbour bridge, white IS with aftermarkets. Couldn't quite pick'em!! If ya a guest, front up man!!! ;)
  15. I was having a close look at an IS-F parked @ work and I was trying to workout other then the obvious, what was it that gave it such an all round complete look. (If that makes sense)!! - Side skirts are the same untill it wrapped up to the front quarter - Front bumper/spoiler completely different - Front grill slightly different - Bonnet (Beefy).... I Like!!! - Sharks fin on the roof ( I like, but pretty sure everyone will think that im trying to copy a Beema just like the Halo's!!) - Boot lid lip........... Am I correct in saying that it is different to the tradidional ISx?!?!? I've gotta say that I really liked it. It seemed that it was mounted all the way up on the boot.(Didn't come close to the Lexus badge). Really completed the look I thought!! Wonder if that could be sourced or am I just dreaming and it is the same!!
  16. No worries man! Let me know when u ready and we will take it from there!!!(U cutting it fine though, not leaving much time before the formal))! Like I said, I will bring the spring compressors and the Corona's!!! Wish I had springs to fit for my ride!!! Cevu, you want to sell me yours considering that they are sitting in ya garage!! We can work something out brother, what U think??
  17. DId u see the one on ClubLexus?? He did a pretty good write up on it but I thought the same.......Hopefully do one if I decided to do them my self!! We need to start posting some of our own DIY stuff up!! Mate, let me know if you want a hand!! I can bring the spring compressors and drinks...!!! I can take the pics too lol!!!
  18. Hey Ghast, I would be FUUUMMMMMMEEEIIINNNGGG!!! or how do you say P%#^&SSED!! Is it scratched down to the base coat?? or can they buff it out??
  19. Nah man, Baulkham hills!!! U @ Cherrybrook?? Wonder if we can get access down near IBM?? Or I guess along New Line perhaps?
